Steps for filling up the form for paper submission

    1. We are only accepting research papers that have been nominated by an individual or by an organisation such as educational institutions, research agencies or Corporations.
    2. The research paper should have been previously published in a journal.
    3. Ensure that the research paper being submitted is in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics and Auditing.
    4. The copy of the paper being submitted for review in the ICAI International Research Award ,2024 should be an exact copy of the one printed in the journal mentioned in the form at the time of submission, without any changes being made to the content and intent except for the format as per the award guidelines.
    5. The submitter is required to upload a scanned copy of the table of contents of the journal in which the paper was published.The scanned copy should show the paper name, page number and if possible the journal name as well, The scanned copy should be of readable quality and can be in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.
    6. The submitter is required to upload a scanned copy of the first page of the paper as it appears in the journal.The scanned copy should show the title, the authors, the content, the page number and if possible the name of the journal.The scanned copy should be of readable quality and can be in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.
    7. Download the Nomination template in PDF format and get it signed by the nominator and the nominee.
    8. The submitter is required to upload a impact analysis statement of the research paper mentioning the usefulness the research study.
    9. Scan the nomination template in a PDF format and upload it at the time of form submission.
    10. Keep your research paper handy.The research paper must have been printed in the format mentioned here (Click Here).
    11. The research paper must be in a PDF format of size not greater than 5 MB.
    12. Fields marked with asterix(*) are mandatory and must be filled.
    13. Enter the details of the research paper being submitted in the form.
    14. Enter the details of the author/co-authors in the form.
    15. Enter the details of the Nominating agency in the form.
    16. Ensure all data entered is correct and review the uploaded artifacts before submission. Once the form is submitted, further requests for any kind of changes will not be entertained by the committee.
    17. After submission of the paper, the author/co-authors and nominator will get a confirmation email.In case a confirmation email is not received, please get in touch with the Research Committee of ICAI (Click Here).
    18. Do not call up the committee to enquire about the status of the submission.In case any further information is required by the committee or your paper has been selected for the award, you shall be notified accordingly.

Page Numbers On every page (except Figures), in the upper right margin, 1/2" from the top and flush with the right margin, two or three words of the paper title (this is called the running head) appear five spaces to the left of the page number, beginning with the title page.
Title Page The title page is always the first page.
On the line below the page number, the running head is typed flush left (all uppercase) following the words "Running head:"
Below the running head, the following are centered on their own lines, using upper and lower case:
  • Paper title
  • Your name
  • Your school

    Section Headings Top level headings should be centered on the page, using upper and lower case.
    Second level headings should be flush left, italicized, using upper and lower case.
    Tables & Illustrations Unless your teacher tells you otherwise, tables and illustrations appear at the end of the paper.
    Each table begins on a separate page with the label Table 1 (etc.) typed flush left on the first line below the page number. Double-space and type the table title flush left (italicized using uppercase and lowercase letters).
    Figures Captions appear on the last numbered page of the paper. In this case the label Figure 1 (etc.) is italicized and the caption itself is not. The caption uses regular sentence capitalization. The figures themselves follow, one per page.
